Twins Galore
These are the moments I couldn't share
because I was oceans away . . .
After four
grandsons in a row, I found myself telling my children, "Don't
bother to call me if the next grandchild is another boy; I'll
find out soon enough."
Marie had promised to call soonest if her next baby were a girl. It was. Rather, they were. She had twins, Gabrielle and Giselle. As promised, Marie called, right after she was brought to her room from the delivery room. Forgetting the 7-hour time difference, she jolted us out of bed at 2:00 am.
The coming of Gabrielle and Giselle was absolutely wonderful, but I had to wait almost two years before I could see them and hold them in my arms.

"Suwerte (daw) ang may kambal sa pamilya".
Kung totoo, doble rin ang suwerte...
As
soon as the ultrasound results were in, Mhigz called to announce
that Merichou will have twins. He asked if we would
schedule our visit with the twins' arrival. Same reply,
"Only if you would have twin girls or, better still, if
you'll have a boy and a girl.
Aragorn Miguel and Aeomer John were born in May and it looks like Rolf and I won't see them until our next holiday in Manila. By that time, my twin grandsons would be more than two years old. I can wait, hard though it is. Meanwhile, these two newest additions to the family are having lots of loving from everybody around them.
